I was thinking of what it would be like to live in that city, and since conditions are pretty rough I was thinking that inhabitants would band together and live in fortified buildings that could provide for them and protect them so they never had to leave their house. Gangs run the streets, everyone else stays inside.

So I'm working on learning FumeFX, and am trying to think of ways that I can bring the stuff that I'm learning into the collab, as secondary effects or whatever else. This is just a simple flame test duped and messed with in AE, but if you guys wanna get the original render from me, you can play around too and see what you can come up with. It'd be dope if we could come up with a style that integrated well, so lemme know if you're interested.
